Patty & Bun began in London in 2012, just a couple years before Crosstown opened its first market location on Leather Lane. Crosstown and Patty & Bun have similar beginnings – and similar ethos. We’re both passionate about food, only use the finest ingredients and are obsessed with creating fresh and high-quality products. It also turns out that we both have some legendary vegan recipes up our sleeves.
We opened Vegan Crosstown, our vegan-only store in Marylebone in March 2018, and it’s been a hit with vegans and non-vegans alike. While all of our locations sell vegan doughnuts, there are a few flavours that are exclusive to Marylebone, such as the Vegan Tongan Vanilla Bean Glaze, Vegan Cinnamon Scroll or Vegan Peanut Butter & Blackcurrant Compote. Vegan Crosstown also has a host of vegan specialty drinks, using non-dairy alternatives such as Minor Figures oat milk, soya milk and cashew milk within our coffees. We also stock the likes of Matcha Works, Jarr Kombucha and Sandows Cold Brew. They’re worth a trip to Marylebone to try!
Patty & Bun launched its first vegan burger in 2018. ‘The Whoopi Goldburger’ is the original plant-based burger on the menu, made with a tempeh & mushroom fritter, bread and butter pickles and smoked gouda cheese, all sat between a bonsoy bun. Patty & Bun’s newer offer, ‘Pamela’, is a delicious plant-based patty topped with spicy mayo, vegan cheddar and, THIS Isn’t Bacon – the same plant-based bacon we use on our limited-edition Vegan Maple Bacon & Banana doughnut.
