THE DIP ROUNDUP
What a year! 2018 has been our biggest and most exciting year since our first days on Leather Lane market back in 2014. We’ve opened four new permanent shops, three new market locations, celebrated epic birthdays, served doughnuts in the sky and won the award for Best Vegan Doughnuts by PETA!
In January we opened the doors to our store in Fitzrovia, followed shortly by Marylebone, our first 100% vegan location serving up the best range of award winning, plant-based doughnuts and speciality drinks to Londoners seven days a week.
In the second half of the year, we launched Crosstown City – a stone’s throw from Cannon Street and Monument stations, serving our craft to the desks of the City faster than ever. In November, Crosstown Greenwich landed – our first store outside of London Zone 1 and south of the river, located inside one of the capital’s most historic markets.
Alongside new openings, October saw the relaunch of the Crosstown website. We’re now able to deliver our biggest range to more addresses than ever, with orders taken direct from the website.
In May we celebrated The Ned’s first birthday with an epic giant doughnut cake (check out the video over on our catering page) and we’ve continued to serve up fresh on Air New Zealand flights from London to LA on business and premium economy classes daily. We’ve been fortunate enough to work with some of the biggest and best brands across fashion, media, sport, leisure, business and beyond.
As scratch bakers, we continue to hone our craft making fresh 365 days of the year. We’re proud to use the finest quality ingredients, sourced locally and from around the world. We’ve celebrated special days like Waitangi Day and Independence Day, launched limited edition doughnuts alongside our line-up of classic and seasonal flavours, including vegan Christmas doughnuts for the first time ever.
Looking ahead to 2019 our recipe is simple: Continue to serve up the best possible doughnuts and speciality drinks across town. We’re excited to share more news with you soon, but for now we’ll leave you with five little words: “Hammersmith, we’re coming for you!”
