In our vegan doughnuts, we have replaced eggs and dairy with a range of plant-based alternative ingredients to achieve the same tastes and textures we enjoy in our original doughnuts.

We use chia seeds and coconut butter in our dough, and a varying combination of oat milk, coconut butter, dairy-free dark chocolate and silken tofu to make the fillings and glazes.

Our Crosstown Marylebone store is  dedicated to serving fresh vegan sourdough doughnuts, specialty coffee and a selection of other vegan hot and cold drinks.

Alongside other Crosstown locations, we’ve partnered with Caravan Coffee Roasters to offer a rotating single origin bean alongside a daily market blend. Coffee and other hot drinks (Matchaeologist matcha, Prana agave chai, Mork hot chocolate, Zig Zag tea) are available with a variety of dairy-free milk alternatives including soy, oat, coconut, cashew and almond.

A selection of vegan doughnuts are available at all Crosstown locations, with the full range stocked at Marylebone, Brockley Market and Victoria Park Market. INGREDIENTS

Crosstown prides itself on utilising the best quality ingredients whilst making everything in house – whether a jam, compote, glaze, filling or topping.

In our vegan doughnuts, we have replaced eggs and dairy with a range of plant-based alternative ingredients to achieve the same tastes and textures we enjoy in our vegetarian doughnuts.

We use chia seeds and coconut butter in our dough, and a varying combination of oat milk, coconut butter, dairy-free dark chocolate and silken tofu to make the fillings and glazes.

ALLERGEN INFO

As our vegan doughnuts contain no eggs or dairy, they are therefore suitable for those following a lacto-vegetarian, or lactose-free diet. All our doughnuts, including the vegan doughnuts, contain wheat flour and so are not suitable for those suffering from coeliac disease, gluten intolerance or sensitivity.

Whilst every care is taken to prevent cross-contamination, as they are prepared and handled in bakery and retail facilities that also handle non-vegan products, we cannot guarantee that they will be 100% free of dairy/eggs. The same is also true of nuts. In case of severe allergies or strict dietary choices, consumption is left to the customer’s discretion.

PRODUCTION STORAGE & HANDLING

At our bakery, all surfaces and equipment are cleaned and sterilised before the vegan dough, fillings and glazes are prepared. The vegan doughnuts are fried in separate oil – British rapeseed oil.

The doughnuts are then packed into separate labelled boxes using separate gloves, and delivered to our retail outlets. At each store or market, we display the vegan doughnuts alongside our non-vegan doughnuts but take care that they don’t come into contact, and use separate designated tongs to serve them.

If you would prefer a vegan doughnut that hasn’t been displayed alongside our other doughnuts, let your server know and they will select one from the separate storage tray, instead.
